Ingredients

Cream cheese base
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp nutmeg
  • 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip) thawed
Topping and texture
  • 0.5 cup caramel sauce
  • 0.5 cup crushed graham crackers
For serving
  • apple slices
  • pretzels
  • graham crackers extra, for dipping

Equipment

  • 1 stand mixer

Method

Make the cheesecake dip base
  1. Beat the cream cheese until completely smooth, scraping the bowl as needed so no lumps remain.
  2. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then beat until fluffy and evenly combined.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping until no streaks remain and the mixture looks thick and creamy.
Chill
  1. Spread the dip into a serving bowl, then refrigerate for 1 hour so it firms up for scooping.
Top and serve
  1. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top in a swirl pattern right before serving for a glossy finish.
  2. Scatter crushed graham crackers over the surface so every scoop gets a crunchy layer.
  3. Serve with apple slices, pretzels, and extra graham crackers for dipping.

Notes

For the smoothest texture, make sure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing; if it’s still cool, the dip may look slightly grainy. Refrigerate in a covered container for up to 3 days (best within 48 hours). Freezing is not recommended because whipped topping can break down when thawed. For a lighter option, use reduced-fat cream cheese and light whipped topping.
