Method
Blend the lemonade
- Add frozen peach slices, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, ice, and cold water (or sparkling water) to a blender.
- Blend on high until completely smooth and slushy, with a thick and pourable texture (about 60 to 90 seconds). Visually look for no visible peach chunks and a uniform orange-yellow color.
Taste and adjust
- Taste the blended peach lemonade and adjust sweetness by adding more simple syrup or tartness by adding more lemon juice.
- Blend briefly for 5 to 10 seconds after each adjustment so the flavor stays evenly mixed and the texture remains thick.
Serve
- Pour the frozen peach lemonade into tall glasses.
- Garnish with lemon slices and fresh peach slices so they rest on the rim and stay visible in the glass.
- Serve immediately with a wide paper straw so it stays frosty and thick as you drink.
Notes
For the thickest peach slushie, keep peaches fully frozen and blend just until smooth—over-blending can thin the texture. Refrigerate leftovers in a covered container for up to 24 hours, but expect some melting; freezing is not recommended because the texture can turn icy. For a lower-sugar version, reduce or replace simple syrup with a no-sugar-added sweetener that measures cup-for-cup.
