Prep and coat the pretzels
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the mini pretzel squares in a single layer.
- Melt the white chocolate melting wafers in the microwave using 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
- Spoon or drizzle white chocolate over each pretzel, covering the top but leaving the edges slightly visible.
Drizzle and decorate
- Melt the red candy melts in the microwave using 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
- Melt the blue candy melts in the microwave using 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
- Drizzle the red and blue melts over the white chocolate-coated pretzels using a spoon or piping bag.
- Immediately scatter the red, white, and blue star sprinkles over each piece while the chocolate is still wet.
Set, break, and serve
- Let the pretzel bites sit at room temperature for 30 minutes until fully set, or refrigerate for 10 minutes for faster firming.
- Break apart and serve once the chocolate is set and no longer glossy.
Notes
For the smoothest coating, keep chocolate melting off and on in short microwave bursts and stir thoroughly between each interval; if it thickens, warm in additional 10–15 second bursts. Store airtight in the fridge up to 5 days; freezer yes/no—freeze for up to 2 months and thaw in the fridge. For a dairy-free swap, use dairy-free white chocolate melting wafers.
