Freeze the peaches
- Spread the peeled, sliced peaches in a single layer on a sheet pan, making sure they don’t touch. Freeze for at least 4 hours until fully frozen, so they blend into an even slushy texture.
Blend into slush
- Add the frozen peach slices, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and water (or sparkling water) to a blender. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth and slushy.
- Check the texture and blend again if needed, adding more water only a little at a time if it’s too thick. Keep blending until you can see a consistent slushy look throughout.
Sweeten, serve, and garnish
- Taste the slush and adjust sweetness by blending in more simple syrup as needed. Blend briefly again to fully incorporate.
- Pour the peach lemonade slush into tall glasses. Garnish each glass with lemon slices and peach wedges for a vivid, fresh finish.
- Serve immediately with a straw. The slush will melt quickly, so timing matters for maximum frosty texture.
Notes
Pro tip: Freeze the peaches on a single layer so they don’t clump, which helps the blender create a finer slush. Store leftover slush covered in the freezer for up to 1 day; it will thicken, so loosen with a splash of water and re-blend briefly if needed. Freezing longer may reduce the texture. Dietary swap: use a reduced-sugar simple syrup (or honey-free sweetener) to lower added sugar while keeping the bright lemonade flavor.
